CMN AND WEST AFRICA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING FIELD REPORT
Reported by brother Charles.
WE ARE BACK HOME SAFELY BY GOD’S GRACE
*”While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus”* (Acts 19:1, NIV).
On March 24, 2025, Brother Douglas Akuamoah Boateng (Dr.) and I traveled to 3 West African countries to strengthen the churches. We first stopped over in Dakar for 2 days before heading to our first station - Guinea-Bissau.
GUINEA-BISSAU
This country has 8 Regions within 3 Provinces and an autonomous sector. With a population of 2.24 million, 46.1% are Muslims, 30.6% are Traditionalist, 18.9% are Christians, and 4.4% practice other religions. Interestingly, the Christian population has been declining since 2010.
The Lord’s church started there in March 2016 with a single congregation - Antula Pabidjar and a second one - Antula Takir in March 2022. Both of them are within the autonomous region of Bissau, until March 2025, when the third one was planted in Polor de N’Tuss in the Biombo Region. We need to thank God for the effort of the brethren because this is a very hard ground with several cultures intentionally against Christianity.
We spent 8 days visiting, encouraging, and training them in the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication tools to help them grow in bounds and expand to the other regions. Kindly keep them in your prayers.
SENEGAL
We returned to Dakar, Senegal and rested few days before going south to Sedhiou and The Gambia. In Dakar, we did a Sunday lectureship on The Art of Giving for the brethren at Zac Mbao and the Dakar Central churches. This saw a huge boost in their offering by the grace of God.
I then joined Brothers Arnold Dzah, Ngocko Dave, and 3 women from Dakar to Sedhiou in the Cassamance Region. We did Public Preachings, House to House Evangelism using the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication tools. There were lots of baptisms by God’s grace. We also visited brethren in nearby communities and also Trained the Brethren in the 4 Fields Discipleship model.
I left to Dakar after one week at Sedhiou. However, Brother Arnold and the team continued with the work and traveled to Kafountine to continue with exactly what we did at Sedhiou. God added many to the kingdom when they traveled there as well. In all, there were 45 baptisms in the missions to the south of Senegal. With about 97.5% of the Senegalese population being Muslims, this is great news that calls for us to thank God immensely.
THE GAMBIA
While we were in the south of Senegal, Brother Douglas also traveled to The Gambia. His meeting was mainly to encourage the preachers and leaders there. There were 4 congregations in Banjul, the capital, until 2 more were added recently. They spent most of the time praying for the work, since 2 of the preachers were ill at the moment. Please let’s thank God for the work in The Gambia and pray more for them.
To God be all the glory .
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the kingdom through the collective effort of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication across the globe .
