Report on Sunday Service and Ministry Activities: Bourguignon Congregation
Location: D.R.C. - Bukavu Date of Activity: Sunday, April 12, 2026 Key Participants: Sister Eliza, Brother M’massa, and the Bourguignon Brethren
The Bourguignon congregation continues to demonstrate vibrant spiritual growth and dedication. Recent photographic documentation captures a thriving community engaged in active worship and intentional discipleship within their new shelter church.
* Sister Eliza is currently leading the training of a significant number of children. This investment in the younger generation serves as a foundational "hope for the future" for the church in the Bukavu region, ensuring the continuity of faith and leadership.
* The worship service was conducted by Brother M’massa. The atmosphere was one of dedication, with many local brethren participating actively in the liturgy and congregational life.
* A highlight of the service was the visible application of the "Sword Method." This technique was used by the brethren during worship to engage directly with the scriptures, fostering a practical and sharp approach to biblical study and application.
Services are now being held in the congregation’s new shelter church. This dedicated space has provided a necessary gathering point for the community to exercise their faith and coordinate their various ministries.
The commitment of the dedicated brethren at Bourguignon is evident. Through the combination of structured youth training, strong local leadership, and the use of effective study methods, the congregation is well-positioned for sustained spiritual impact in Bukavu.
In Christ!
This is really great and encouraging work of the Lord you are all doing brethren across the regions of DR Congo, keep it up for Jesus! Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
