Kenya Gospel Chariot Missions has once again pressed forward into the harvest fields, arriving at Kolelach Church of Christ in the beautiful and rugged Cherengani Hills. What began yesterday has already unfolded into a powerful testimony of God’s grace at work—and the mission continues strong through the close of today.
From the very first gathering, there was a deep hunger among the brethren. The eldership classes have drawn committed men who are eager to grow into shepherds after God’s own heart (1 Peter 5:2-3). With open Bibles and humble spirits, they have leaned into the call of leadership, understanding that the future of the church in this region rests on faithful, grounded oversight.
At the same time, the Sword Method of Bible Study has ignited fresh excitement for the Word. Believers are not just listening—they are engaging, discovering, and applying Scripture personally. As Hebrews 4:12 reminds us, the Word of God is living and active, and here in Kolelach, it is clearly at work—cutting deep, building faith, and transforming lives.
Beyond the church walls, the gospel has been sounding out boldly. Gospel crusades have drawn the community together, creating moments where Christ is lifted high and clearly proclaimed (John 12:32). There is a growing openness among the people, a readiness to hear, and a visible stirring in hearts.
Equally powerful has been the momentum of the 4 Fields Disciple-Making efforts. The team and local believers are moving intentionally—from entry to gospel sharing, from discipleship to leadership development—laying a foundation for multiplication. This is not just about today’s response, but about raising disciples who will make disciples (2 Timothy 2:2).
Indeed, great strides have been made in just this short time. Seeds have been planted, leaders are being shaped, and the church is being strengthened.
To our good Lord be all the praise for every victory, every open heart, and every step forward in this region. As the mission continues through today, we trust that He who began this good work will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).
Blessings,
Tom Opondo.
