W.A.L.K. AND THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION REPORT FROM GHANA AND TOGO

INDEED THE GOSPEL IS THE POWER OF GOD TO SALVATION
As we imitated the apostles by visiting to encourage the disciples at places in Ghana and Togo, where we have discipled believers and planted churches intentionally since 2021, we are all excited and humbled by what God can do through ordinary men who trust and obey.
As we ventured into the Harvest Field, our concentration was in four different areas in Togo:
1. Atakpame
2. Guerin Kouka
3. Notse and
4. Tchamba
God has humbled us all by expanding His kingdom with 947 new souls who have put on Christ in baptism. There were 31 new congregations planted as we visited and encouraged several old congregations. We also did leadership training for both old and new members.
A colleague preacher recently approached me and said he had heard of the several people coming to Jesus Christ through our work, but for him, those people only get baptized because of the presence of ‘Obroni,’ and that the people do not really get converted.
Well, the work we did these past few days involved only Africans from Ghana and Togo. We only preached the gospel that’s God’s power unto salvation.
Challenges
1. Some of the congregations have grown far more than we knew them to be and need Building/Shelter instead of still being Churches Under-trees. Some have smaller thatch buildings in which they cannot fit anymore.
2. There are less leaders taking care of more churches and they are getting overwhelmed. This has resulted in the dwindling of the numbers in some areas where leaders seldom visit. We need to identify and train more leaders, as well intensify our visits to encourage more congregations.
All the team members have safely arrived at our various homes to spend time with our families before we move again.
Thanks for your supportive prayers and encouragement always. Keep on with the prayer as we continue into the harvest to reach more communities for Jesus Christ and strengthen and encourage the existing churches also.
